PARK ADVISORY

Poinsett State Park is hosting NICA SC Interscholastic Bike Race 11/1-2. Please expect longer than usual wait times for admissions and heavy park usage. The northern trail system will be closed off to racers and staff only. Day-use visitors are free to use the southern portion of trails. Please contact the park office for additional information.

Poinsett is currently accepting applications for Campground Hosts for 2025-2026! If interested, please contact the park via phone or email.

HOURS

9am-dark, year round

OFFICE

11am-noon & 4pm-5pm

ADMISSION

$3 adults; $1.50 SC seniors; $1 children age 6-15; age 5 & younger free

PETS

Pets are not allowed in the cabins or the cabin areas. Pets are allowed in most other outdoor areas provided they are kept under physical restraint or on a leash not longer than six feet. Owners will be asked to remove noisy or dangerous pets or pets that threaten or harass wildlife.
