Notice of Trail Closures – Saturday, August 7, 2026
On Saturday, August 7, 2026, the following trails will be closed from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM for the US MTB Racing in the Woods mountain bike event:
We kindly ask all visitors to drive slowly when entering the park and to be prepared for brief delays as racers may be crossing roadways.
The Park Office will remain open during this time, and trails on the northern side of the park will remain accessible for use.

Camping

  • Camping Information: The campground provides 24 sites with individual water and electrical hookups and 26 tent sites with individual water. Some sites accommodate RVs up to 40 feet. The campground is convenient to restroom facilities with hot showers. All sites include water, picnic table and a fire ring.

    Customers requiring extended lengths of stay may call the park directly and speak to the park manager.

  • Camping Reservations: To make a camping reservation or view current rates, call toll-free 1-866-345-PARK or visit our reservations page by clicking here. Rates vary by season and demand and are subject to change.

    Camping reservations must be made for a minimum of two nights.

    Reservations requested less than one (1) day in advance of check-in must be made directly through the park.

    For example:
    If today is Friday and you are making a reservation checking in on today, Friday, you must make the reservation by contacting the park directly.
  • Standard Sites with Elec. & Water: 24 sites

  • Designated Tent Sites: 26 sites

  • Dump Station: Yes
  • Primitive Group Area: The primitive group camping area is ideal for organized groups up to 200 people. The area includes central water and restrooms. Reservations are accepted. To make a primitive group camping reservation, contact the park directly.

  • Tent Camping: Yes
  • RV Camping: Yes
