Dashing Through the Parks SCavenger Hunt!

We're happy to announce our holiday promotion -- the 2024 Dashing Through the Parks Scavenger Hunt!  Through this scavenger hunt you will learn more about your parks, enjoy some great events, have a lot of fun -- and earn prizes!

Here's what you do:

1. Download the Goosechase Interactive Experiences, scavenger hunt app from the App Store or Google Play.

2. Sign in and search for -- Dashing Through the Parks Scavenger Hunt 2024 - select the game with the red icon with the reindeer that begins Nov. 28 and ends Jan. 2.

3. Join the game and enter your username, email, etc.

4. The game goes live at 12:01 a.m. on 11/28/24 (Thanksgiving Day) and will expire on 1/1/25 (New Year's Day)

5. Complete missions to earn points.  Points earn prizes!

6. Here's what you are playing for:

  • a. Earn at least 50 points and get a SC State Park prize pack that includes a Dashing Through the Parks blanket, gloves and sunglasses!
  • b. Earn at least 80 points and be put in the drawing to win over $3,500 in state park gift cards!

7. To earn prizes, each user needs their own username and should complete missions individually.  If you have a child who is a minor and cannot do the scavenger hunt on their own, please include their name with your name, where you submit your contact information, so we will know how many prizes to send. We ask that all adults please play separately.

8. Some missions will require visitors to attend events at our parks or visit our parks, and some missions can be done from home.

9. All submissions need to be current. Players may not submit a picture of an event from a previous year and get credit. We reserve the right to delete any inaccurate submissions, to include pictures of pictures or pictures of computer screens.

10. The game begins on November 28, 2024, and ends on January 1, 2025. New missions may be added to the scavenger hunt during this time period.  The game will be added to and updated as we go.
