PARK ADVISORY

Artesian Wells Dry Due to Drought

Park operations are currently not affected. Due to prolonged drought conditions affecting Lee County, several artesian wells at Lee State Park have temporarily ceased flowing. Park staff are monitoring conditions and will provide updates as groundwater levels recover.

The swimming area is open for the season!

Please be aware: Federal regulations require that any time a horse crosses state lines, a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (aka Health Certificate) is required. This can be either a 30 day certificate or an Extended Equine Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (EECVI), which has a duration of six months.
