Please be aware: Federal regulations require that any time a horse crosses state lines, a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (aka Health Certificate) is required. This can be either a 30 day certificate or an Extended Equine Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (EECVI), which has a duration of six months.

Camping

  • Camping Information: The park campground is open year round. Each campsite has water and electrical hookups and is convenient to restrooms with hot showers. Some sites accommodate RVs up to 36 feet, others up to 30 feet.

  • Camping Reservations: To make a camping reservation or view current rates, call toll-free 1-866-345-PARK or visit our reservations page by clicking here. Rates vary by season and demand and are subject to change.

    Camping reservations must be made for a minimum of two nights.

    Reservations requested less than one (1) day in advance of check-in must be made directly through the park.

    For example:
    If today is Friday and you are making a reservation checking in on today, Friday, you must make the reservation by contacting the park directly.
  • Standard Sites with Elec. & Water: 19 sites are available for family camping, while 18 sites are designated for equestrian campers.

  • Full Hookup Sites with Elec, Water, Sewer: Sites 15, 17, 19, 21, 23 and 25 for family camping and 44-48 for equestrian camping.

  • Dump Station: Yes
  • Primitive Group Area: A primitive group camping area is ideal for organized groups up to 75 people. (An organized group is defined as a group that holds regular meetings and has a lead officer or elected/appointed officials.)

    The area has 3 designated sites (25 people per site). There is central water and a privy. Reservations are accepted. To make a primitive group camping reservation, contact the park directly. Minimum rate is $14.50 which allows up to ten campers. The rate increases by $6.50 increments for each additional five campers.

  • Tent Camping: Yes
  • RV Camping: Yes
