This can be either a 30 day certificate or an Extended Equine Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (EECVI), which has a duration of six months.



Loop Road is open to all traffic, including vehicles.

Picnic Shelters

  • Picnic Shelter Information: Two picnic shelters are available for family or other group gatherings. Each shelter may be reserved for $25-32/day. Shelter #1 has a fireplace, two small grills, four picnic tables and can accommodate up to 50 people. Shelter #2 has a built-in serving table, three grills, four picnic tables and can also accommodate up to 50 people. Neither of the shelters have electrical power.

  • Shelter Reservations: To make a picnic shelter reservation, call toll-free 1-866-345-PARK (7275) or reserve online by clicking on the Make a Reservation button located just underneath the large photo at the top of this page.

  • Picnic Tables: The picnic tables in the day-use area are first-come, first-serve. We also have picnic tables for use around the Artesian Lake and along the Lynches River at Mulberry Island.
