Pets are allowed in most outdoor areas provided they are kept under physical restraint or on a leash not longer than six feet. Owners will be asked to remove noisy or dangerous pets or pets that threaten or harass wildlife. Pets are not allowed in or around lodging facilities.

Volunteer

Set along the South Edisto River, Aiken State Park is a haven for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. 

The park is always looking for volunteers to work in the Park Host Program.

Duties include:

  • Performing grounds/facility maintenance
  • Assisting with park administration
  • Housekeeping and cleaning of park facilities
  • Serving as an operations clerk
