The canoe trail, located on the Edisto River, is 1.75 miles long. You can enjoy paddling your own canoe or rent one from the park.

Scheduled times for canoe rentals/floats are: Th, Su and M 10am, noon and 3pm, F and Sa 10am, noon and 2pm. Who constructed the stonework and buildings throughout the park?
Aiken State Park was built during the Great Depression by an African-American detachment of the Civilian Conservation Corps. Interpretive signage tells their story and their work can still be seen in some of the park’s original structures and features.

The lake in the picnic area is known as the Children's Pond, Fish Lake is located near the Fish Lake Shelter and Cabin Lake is located across State Park Road.
