PARK NEWS

Pine Island State Park is open Thursday-Sunday from 9am-6pm.  We have limited hours to facilitate continued park improvements.

 

Restrictions due to narrow entry causeway:

-Vehicles may not line up at the gate before 9:00 AM or if the gate is closed when the park is at capacity.

-No RVs, campers, or trailers (including boat trailers) are permitted. Exceptions by official permit or authorized deliveries only.

Other important information:

-Our swimming beach is now open!  Pets are not allowed on the swimming beach May 1 – Sept 30.

-Shelters are all first-come, first-served.  We do not offer reservations due to limited parking.

-Our event building (Sunset Hall) and the marina are closed for renovations.

-To provide a safe trail for walking and biking, vehicles are not permitted on the road to the western side of the island.

ADMISSION

$6 adults; $3.75 SC Seniors (age 65 & older); $3.50 children age 6-15; ages 5 & under are free

PETS

Pets are allowed in most outdoor areas provided they are kept under physical restraint or on a leash not longer than six feet. Owners will be asked to remove noisy or dangerous pets or pets that threaten or harass wildlife.
