According to the Catawba Riverkeepers, the water is not safe to swim in due to high E.coli presence around Lake Wateree State Park. To find out more, click this link.

Lake Wateree State Park is searching for a campground host for August and September of 2025! If you are interested or would like more information, please email the park at lwatereesp@scprt.com or call 803-482-6401.

OFFICE

Mon. – Thurs. 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.,
Fri. - Sun. 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.

ADMISSION

$3 adults; $1.50 SC seniors; $1 children age 6-15; age 5 & younger free

PETS

Pets are allowed in most outdoor areas provided they are kept under physical restraint or on a leash not longer than six feet. Owners will be asked to remove noisy or dangerous pets or pets that threaten or harass wildlife.
