The Wild Mint Trail and mountain bike trail will remain closed until further notice.

Please pardon our progress as we continue beautification improvements to the campground and your overall experience at Baker Creek State Park. We thank you for your patience and understanding.

M-Su 6 a.m.-6 p.m. (extended to 9 p.m. during Daylight Savings Time).

ADMISSION

$3 adults; $1.50 SC seniors; $1 children age 6-15; age 5 & younger free

PETS

Pets are allowed in most outdoor areas provided they are kept under physical restraint or on a leash not longer than six feet. Owners will be asked to remove noisy or dangerous pets or pets that threaten or harass wildlife.

Camping

Camping Information: A 34-site campground is located along the shores of Strom Thurmond Lake.

The campground is convenient to restrooms with hot showers.
Camping Reservations: To make a camping reservation or view current rates, call toll-free 1-866-345-PARK (7275) or visit our reservations page by clicking here. Rates vary by season and demand and are subject to change.

Camping reservations must be made for a minimum of two nights.

Reservations requested less than one (1) day in advance of check-in must be made directly through the park. For example: If today is Friday and you are making a reservation checking in on today, Friday, you must make the reservation by contacting the park directly.

Designated Tent Sites: 2 tent sites
Dump Station: Yes
Tent Camping: Yes
RV Camping: Yes
