PARK ADVISORY

Baker Creek is scheduled to reopen on Friday, November 22. Reservations for November 22, forward, can be made at this time.  The Wild Mint Trail and mountain bike trail will remain closed until further notice.

  • Fishing Information: Enjoy fishing in Strom Thurmond Lake for several species of bass, crappie, catfish, bream and striper. A valid South Carolina fishing license is required.

  • Hiking Trails: A 10-mile bike/hiking trail includes three interconnecting loops which wind along the lake and the quiet, park interior.

  • Walking/Nature Trails: The Wild Mint Nature Trail is a one-mile, self-guided nature trail.
