PARK ADVISORY

THE CAMPGROUND IS NOW OPEN!  With two new family-style comfort stations and 50-amp service.

 

All trails are currently closed due to logging operations and effects from Hurricane Helene. Trails will remain closed until further notice.

 

Please pardon our progress as we continue improvements to the campground and your overall experience at Baker Creek State Park. We thank you for your patience and understanding.

Pets are allowed in most outdoor areas provided they are kept under physical restraint or on a leash not longer than six feet. Owners will be asked to remove noisy or dangerous pets or pets that threaten or harass wildlife.

  • Fishing Information: Enjoy fishing in Strom Thurmond Lake for several species of bass, crappie, catfish, bream and striper. A valid South Carolina fishing license is required.
