Camping

  • Camping Information: The camping area provides easy access to the shoreline of Lake Greenwood. 125 paved sites may be used by both RVs and tents. Each site has water and electrical hook-ups and a picnic table. Many paved sites accommodate RVs up to 40 feet. All sites are convenient to hot showers and restrooms.

  • Camping Reservations: To make a camping reservation, call toll-free 1-866-345-PARK (7275) or make it online by clicking Park Reservation. Camping reservations must be made for a minimum of two nights.

    Reservations requested less than one (1) day in advance of check-in must be made directly through the park. For example: If today is Friday and you are making a reservation checking in on today, Friday, you must make the reservation by contacting the park directly.

    Effective July 20, 2012: Between April 1 and August 31, campers can stay a maximum of 14 nights at Lake Greenwood. After the 14th night, they must vacate the park for 7 consecutive nights before returning.

  • Standard Sites with Elec. & Water: 125 sites rent for $23-24/site/night

    Note: Rates listed do not include applicable sales tax and nonrefundable reservation cost.

  • 50 Amp Service Sites: All 125 of the campsites provide 50 amp service.

  • Dump Station: Yes
  • Primitive Group Area: The primitive group camping area is ideal for organized groups up to 50 people. (An organized group is defined as a group that holds regular meetings and has a lead officer or elected/appointed officials.) The area includes picnic tables and a fire ring. Reservations are accepted.

    To make a primitive group camping reservation, contact the park directly. Minimum rate is $14/night which allows up to 10 campers. The rate increases by $5 increments for each additional five campers.
