PARK ADVISORY

UPDATE 11/21/2024 - Open portions of the park include the campground, the Drummond Center, Terraces and Wall area, the areas of Shelter 2 and Shelter 3, and the boat ramp. The following areas remain closed at this time; Shelter 1 including the playground and fishing pier, Shelter 2 bathroom and dock, hiking trails and the Shelter 4 area.

Please be advised, wi-fi is only available at the Drummond Center and park office area and does not extend to the campground.

Pets are allowed in most outdoor areas provided they are kept under physical restraint or on a leash not longer than six feet. Owners will be asked to remove noisy or dangerous pets or pets that threaten or harass wildlife.

Top 5 Things To Do

  1. Explore the Civilian Conservation Corps Museum located in the Drummond Center.
  2. Fish from the CCC rock wall or fishing pier.
  3. Have a picnic out on “The Point.”
  4. Come and explore the park while trying to locate one of its many geocaches.
  5. View the wisteria in full bloom in the early spring (usually around March or April).
