Where can you find 26, 40"x 26" nature prints hanging OUTSIDE in trees?  That's Lake Greenwood State Park! The Carolina Outdoor Project with photos taken by jon holloway is on display at the park now through October 24. Come by anytime and see it by car, bike or foot with park admission.  An art walk with the photographer will take place at 6 p.m., Sept. 18.  Everyone is invited.  More info, here.

Pets are allowed in most outdoor areas provided they are kept under physical restraint or on a leash not longer than six feet. Owners will be asked to remove noisy or dangerous pets or pets that threaten or harass wildlife.

Top 5 Things To Do

  1. Explore the Civilian Conservation Corps Museum located in the Drummond Center.
  2. Fish from the CCC rock wall or fishing pier.
  3. Have a picnic out on “The Point.”
  4. Come and explore the park while trying to locate one of its many geocaches.
  5. View the wisteria in full bloom in the early spring (usually around March or April).
