The park will officially open to the public during our soft opening scheduled for April 2, 2026, through September 30, 2026. During this time, sections of the park will be open with limited hours of operation. See additional park information provided below.
Open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, beginning April 2, 2026.
$3 adults; $1.50 SC Seniors (age 65 & older); $1 children age 6-15; ages 5 & younger free.
Pets are allowed in most outdoor areas provided they are kept under physical restraint or on a leash not longer than six feet. Owners will be asked to remove noisy or dangerous pets or pets that threaten park visitors and/or harass wildlife.

Fishing: Enjoy fishing for large mouth bass, bream and catfish on the Black River. A valid South Carolina fishing license is required.
Kayaking/Canoeing: A kayak/canoe launch to access the Black River is available for park guests.
Boating: A boat ramp for small, motorized boats is available for park guests.
Bird Watching: The area is great for bird watching. You may see birds such as prothonotary warblers, swallow-tailed kites, bald eagles and southern barred owls.
