Camping

  • Camping Information: 11 sites are full service with water, electricity, and septic. 18 sites have water and electrical hookups, while 18 tent sites include individual water and no electricity. The campground is located convenient to restroom facilities with hot showers. 3 trailside primitive campsites are available a short hike down the Longleaf Pine trail.

  • Camping Reservations: To make a camping reservation or view current rates, call toll-free 1-866-345-PARK or visit our reservations page by clicking here. Rates vary by season and demand and are subject to change.

    Camping reservations must be made for a minimum of two nights.

    Reservations requested less than one (1) day in advance of check-in must be made directly through the park.

    For example:
    If today is Friday and you are making a reservation checking in on today, Friday, you must make the reservation by contacting the park directly.
  • Standard Sites with Elec. & Water: 18 sites
  • Full Hookup Sites with Elec, Water, Sewer: 11 sites
  • Designated Tent Sites: 18 designated tent sites with central water
  • Dump Station: Yes
  • Trailside Camping: 3 trailside primate sites
  • Primitive Group Area: The primitive group camping area is ideal for organized groups. (An organized group is defined as a group that holds regular meetings and has a lead officer or elected/appointed officials.) The area includes one privy toilet. Reservations are accepted. To make a primitive group camping reservation, contact the park directly.

    Minimum rate is $15 which allows up to ten campers. The rate increases by $5-6.50 increments for each additional five campers.
