Plot Twist Charters has partnered with Edisto Beach State Park to provide boat tours & services this up coming season. Tours range from Dolphin, Sunset, Island Excursions, Eco/Historical and include water taxi service. Please visit their website for details and bookings.


 

Simply Sand Creations has partnered with Edisto Beach State Park to provide sand art creations at the Environmental Learning Center and the day-use area of the park. A unique experience where you walk away with your own sand art mold! Go to their website or email them for more information about pricing and schedules!

Pets are not allowed in the cabins or the cabin areas. Pets are allowed in most other outdoor areas provided they are kept under physical restraint or on a leash not longer than six feet. Owners will be asked to remove noisy or dangerous pets or pets that threaten or harass wildlife.

  1. Tour the Environmental Learning Center, featuring interactive displays, live-animal exhibits and more, to learn all about the ACE Basin.
  2. Walk along the 1.5-mile, palmetto-lined beach famed for its shelling, sunrises and historic fossils.
  3. Spend some time on the state’s longest system wheelchair-accessible hiking and biking trails. View the live oaks and some of the state’s tallest palmetto trees along the pristine marshland.
  4. Cast a line from the fishing pier at the Environmental Learning Center and enjoy some of the island’s best views over Big Bay Creek.  
  5. Launch a boat into Big Bay Creek and enjoy a day of fishing or exploring the waters of the ACE Basin.
