The Live Oak Campground remains CLOSED.  The day-use area (with beach access), boat landing, cabin area and oceanfront campground are all open.   Beginning Oct. 18, reservations in the oceanfront campground will be open to everyone under the normal reservation process. ***This does not apply to reservations in the LIVE OAK CAMPGROUND.  It remains closed.  Please contact the park directly for more information.

Please be aware that because of the dynamic location of the park, the water has a high salt content. The water is treated by the Town of Edisto Beach and deemed safe to drink from Department of Health and Safety. The Town of Edisto Beach does have a water filling station, which allows you to fill up to five gallons per day. Bottled water is also available at the local filling stations and grocery stores.

  • Camping Information: Camping with water and electrical hookups is available ocean-side or near the salt marsh.

    Several sites accommodate RVs up to 40 feet. Each campground is convenient to restrooms with hot showers.

  • Camping Reservations: To make a camping reservation, call toll-free 1-866-345-PARK (7275) or make it online by clicking Park Reservation.

    Camping reservations must be made for a minimum of two nights.

    Reservations requested less than one (1) day in advance of check-in must be made directly through the park.

    For example:
    If today is Friday and you are making a reservation checking in on today, Friday, you must make the reservation by contacting the park directly.

  • Standard Sites with Elec. & Water: 112 sites typically rent for $21-$55 per night. Nightly rates vary and are subject to change.

    Discounted rates may be offered for seasons of lower demand.

    Note: Rates listed do not include applicable sales tax and nonrefundable reservation costs.

  • 50 Amp Service Sites: All of the standard campsites offer 20/30/50 amp electrical service.

  • Designated Tent Sites: While tent campers may use the sites with water and electrical hookups, a walk-in tent camping area on the marsh side includes tent pads and centralized water.

    Five rustic tent sites typically rent for $15-$25 per night in the Live Oak Campground. Nightly rates vary and are subject to change.
