Camp Buckhorn

The popular lodge at Camp Buckhorn, a dining hall and meeting facility tucked deep in the forest at Paris Mountain State Park, but only six miles from downtown Greenville, has been renovated and is open for reservations.  Camp Buckhorn has been a popular setting for weddings, family reunions, church retreats, business retreats and group gatherings since it was built with logs and rubble stone by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1936-37.

The Lodge at Camp Buckhorn

The lodge dining area at Camp Buckhorn will seat up to 75 people.  The lodge dining area has an original rock fireplace, a serving window, and a state-of-the-art kitchen.  The kitchen includes an ice machine, commercial refrigerator, commercial freezer, six-burner gas stove, food warming cabinet, microwave, stainless-steel food prep tables, various cooking utensils, cookware, spoons/knives/forks, plates, glasses, coffee cups, etc.

The patio area at Buckhorn has two outdoor tables with seating as well as a large gas grill for visitor use.  The lawn area near the lodge is large enough to accommodate tenting for outdoor ceremonies or events.  Restroom and shower facilities are also available at the Lodge.

Complimentary wi-fi is also available at the Camp Buckhorn Lodge.

Buckhorn Cabins

Nine small, primitive cabins are also located near the lodge.  Each cabin has two sets of bunk beds and sleeps four.  One, renovated cabin is located across the entrance from the lodge, sleeps two, and includes a bedroom, living room area, small kitchenette, and heat and air-conditioner.  These cabins come with any rental of Camp Buckhorn.
