PARK NEWS

As warm weather approaches, please be advised that swimming is NOT PERMITTED in the following areas at the park:

Marina Area
Muddy Bay Outpost (old office area)
Boat Ramp Areas
Courtesy Docks
Campground (unless you have a site rented)
Villa Area and Dock

 

Please be advised, effective June 1, 2026 our admission rates will be increasing.  New rates will be: $6 adults; $3.75 SC Seniors (age 65 & older); $3.50 children age 6-15; ages 5 & under free. 

 

ALL camping, camper cabin & villa guests should check-in at the Tackle Shop before proceeding to their cabin, villa or campsite.

Beginning January 1, 2020, pets will be allowed in camper cabins 2-5. Pets are not allowed in the villas or the villa areas. Pets are allowed in most other outdoor areas provided they are kept under physical restraint or on a leash not longer than six feet. Owners will be asked to remove noisy or dangerous pets or pets that threaten or harass wildlife. Pets are not allowed in the camper cabin area prior to January 1, 2020.

Marina

The Dreher Island marina is located near the Tackle Shop at the park.  The marina includes:

  • 48 slips - 25' long by 15' wide - $300/month rental
  • 2 slips - 55' long with no width requirement - $350/month rental
  • All slips include water and electric hookups.
  • Sewer pumps are also available.
  • Includes a Dreher Island State Park parking pass and code for the shower house at the marina.

We are accepting 12 month leases for available spaces at this time.  Two months payment are required up front.  A 10% discount will be given if all 12 months are paid for when lease is signed.
