PARK ADVISORY

The bridge to access the Southside Trail System is now open!  The new bridge restores access to the park land that the creek divides, reconnecting roughly 20 miles of hiking and biking trails in the Southside Trail System to the rest of the park, and completing the portion of the Palmetto Trail that runs through Croft.

Some trails near Lake Johnson will be closed while the spillway and dam are being repaired. This closure will begin on July 20, 2022, and is expected to last about 6 months. Please contact the Croft State Park office at 864-585-1283 for more details.

Our boat ramp is currently closed due to the spillway renovation and dropping of the lake level for this work to be completed.  We apologize for the inconvenience.
