PARK NEWS

The Visitor Center will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. Park grounds will remain open. 


The Visitor Center will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from November 1 to Feb 28.  Grounds will be open those days as normal, 9 am to 6 pm.


The Paved Trail up to the Horseshoe Falls Overlook is now open and the British Camp Trail is open.  Battlefield Trail and our Canoe Launch Area are still closed.

Pets are allowed in most outdoor areas provided they are kept under physical restraint or on a leash not longer than six feet. Owners will be asked to remove noisy or dangerous pets or pets that threaten or harass wildlife.

  • Driving Directions: From I-26 Westbound: Take exit 52 for SC 56 Cross Anchor/Clinton. Turn right onto HWY 56 and drive north for 6 miles. The park entrance will be on the left.

    From I-26 Eastbound: Take exit 38 for HWY 146 Cross Anchor. Turn left onto HWY 146. Drive east for 6 miles and turn right onto HWY 56. Drive south for three miles and the park entrance will be on the right.

    From I-385: Take I-385 to I-26 E. Take exit 52. Take a left onto HWY 56 and travel for 6 miles. The park entrance will be on the left.
