Pets are not allowed in the cabins or the cabin areas. Pets are allowed in most other outdoor areas provided they are kept under physical restraint or on a leash not longer than six feet. Owners will be asked to remove noisy or dangerous pets or pets that threaten or harass wildlife.

Camping

  • Camping Information: Sites 1 – 25 are full service with water, sewer and 50/30/20 amp power. Many sites can accommodate 40’ RVs, others up to 30' and are convenient to restrooms and hot showers.

    Site material is a firm limestone base ideal for campers and RVs.

    Sites 26 – 35 are hike-in only, approximately 200 yards from the designated parking area. These tent/hammock sites have water and 20 amp electric, as well as a grill, fire ring, picnic table and storage box for food and supplies. The site material is groomed beach sand ideal for tents.

  • Camping Reservations: To make a camping reservation or view current rates, call toll-free 1-866-345-PARK or visit our reservations page by clicking here. Rates vary by season and demand and are subject to change.

    Camping reservations must be made for a minimum of two nights.

    Reservations requested less than one (1) day in advance of check-in must be made directly through the park.

    For example:
    If today is Friday and you are making a reservation checking in on today, Friday, you must make the reservation by contacting the park directly.
  • Full Hookup Sites with Elec, Water, Sewer: 25 sites

  • 50 Amp Service Sites: 25 sites

  • Dump Station: Yes
  • Trailside Camping: Ten trailside campsites are available for reservations. They include electric, water, picnic table, fire ring, storage box and pedestal grill. These sites are approximately 200 yards from the designated parking area and are available for tents and hammocks only.

  • Primitive Group Area: The primitive group camping area is ideal for organized groups up to 100 people. An organized group is defined as a group that holds regular meetings and has a lead officer or elected/appointed officials.

    The area includes central water, fire ring and nearby restoom facilities.

    Reservations are accepted. To make a primitive group camping reservation, contact the park directly.

    Minimum rate is $13 -$15.50 which allows up to ten campers. The rate increases by $5-6.25 increments for each additional five campers.

  • Tent Camping: Yes
  • RV Camping: Yes
