PARK ADVISORY

The Campgrounds at Calhoun Falls State Park will be closed for renovations beginning December 1, 2022.  We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to welcoming you back to the campgrounds once the improvements are completed.  Please follow along for updates as this project progresses, or check directly with the park for more information.

Pets are allowed in most outdoor areas provided they are kept under physical restraint or on a leash not longer than six feet. Owners will be asked to remove noisy or dangerous pets or pets that threaten or harass wildlife.

  1. Visit the day-use area and play tennis or basketball, go swimming or have a picnic!
  2. Walk the 1.75-mile loop Cedar Bluff Nature Trail.
  3. Visit the camping area and spend the night at one of the best campsites in the state.
  4. Visit the tackle shop and find out about local attractions.
  5. Check out fishing equipment from the tackle shop through our tackle loaner program and fish on the beautiful Lake Russell.
