Campground 1 at Calhoun Falls State Park will be closed for renovations beginning December 1, 2022.

As many of you are aware, Calhoun Falls State Park campground has been closed to reservations beginning this winter due to scheduled park-wide campground utility upgrades. This project includes upgrading all campsites to 50 amp electric service and replacing existing water lines. We were hopeful that these utility improvements would begin in both campgrounds this year, but due to project constraints, work on Campground 2 has been deferred to the winter of 2023. We apologize for this delay and appreciate your understanding. With that being said, we are glad for the opportunity to continue seeing you at the park! Although the utility upgrades for Campground 2 have been delayed, our staff will be working on other improvement projects to keep providing you with a great experience.

On Monday, July 25, 2022 at 9:00am, we will begin accepting reservations for Campground 2 starting December 1, 2022. Book your reservations online at www.southcarolinaparks.com/calhoun-falls or by calling 1-866-345-7275. Until then, take this time to begin planning for next year, and we look forward to having you all camping with us in 2023!
