Pets are allowed in most outdoor areas provided they are kept under physical restraint or on a leash not longer than six feet. Owners will be asked to remove noisy or dangerous pets or pets that threaten or harass wildlife.
Where is the closest gas station to Sadlers Creek State Park?
The Marathon Station on Hwy 29 South from the Hwy 187 intersection is the nearest gas station to the park.
Where can I purchase a fishing license?
From the Exxon Station (The Villager) on Hwy 187 North from Sadlers Creek Rd.
While visiting Sadlers Creek where can I get firewood?
Firewood is available for purchase at the park office located at the pavilion.
While I am staying at Sadlers Creek where can I get groceries?
Groceries can be purchased from the grocery stores at the intersection of Hwy 187 and 24 North from Sadlers Creek Road.
Are there boats available for rent at Sadlers Creek?
We do not rent canoes or kayaks but there is a local vendor who does: Grady's Great Outdoors, 864-226-7283 or 877-547-2397. The closest place to rent a motor boat is Big Water Marina.
Are golf carts allowed at Sadlers Creek?
Yes, if you have proof of liability insurance and all the appropriate rules and regulations are followed, you may bring your golf cart to the park.
Does Sadlers Creek have a swimming area for guests?
We do not have a designated swimming area, but you are allowed to swim along the shoreline of Lake Hartwell at your own risk. It is recommended that you wear a life jacket.
Where is the park’s Ultimate Outsider stamp located?
Our Ultimate Outsider stamp is located across from the door to the park office at the Pavilion.
