Access to the park Welcome Center and restrooms will be closed Wednesday and Thursday, February 19-20, 2025. We will resume normal hours on Friday, February 21. Thank you for your understanding.
May Forest does not offer camping or any overnight accommodations at this time. The park is only open for day-use during limited hours.
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Grounds only.

Pets are allowed in most outdoor areas provided they are kept under physical restraint or on a leash not longer than six feet.

2. Relax, and enjoy the swing overlooking the Charleston Harbor.
3. View the third longest cable-stayed bridge in the western hemisphere, the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge.
4. Attend a tour of the former Sisters of Charity of Our Lady of Mercy ‘Motherhouse’.
5. Experiencing a stunning skyline view during the morning and or afternoon over the Charleston Harbor.
