Pets are allowed in most outdoor areas provided they are kept under physical restraint or on a leash not longer than six feet. Owners will be asked to remove noisy or dangerous pets or pets that threaten or harass wildlife.

Description:Begin this easy-walking, one and a quarter mile loop trail at the end of the parking area beside the park office. You will start through the "Fit Trail," follow the "Trail" arrow markers, wind through the pine woods, and end up at the edge of a pond where you can watch for alligators, water birds, snakes and other wildlife. Through your journey, you may want to review the trail’s interpretive signs to check your knowledge of deer, armadillo, turtles, skinks, possum, raccoons, and squirrels.

Difficulty: Easy - Moderate
Description: Follow the signage next to the park office and enjoy the 10 exercise stations on the fit trail, while observing the surrounding wildlife and mixed pine forest. The Fit Trail is a .4 mile loop that is marked with brown "Fit Trail" signs.

Difficulty: Easy
Description: Enjoy the beauty of Lake George Warren as you relax on a bench midway along this level .3-mile loop. From the trailhead at the playground, you will walk beneath Spanish moss that hangs from oak trees in the mixed woods. You will follow a short boardwalk over a boggy area lined with rhododendron. You will see a variety of birds and wildlife, plus a possible snake or alligator.
