The campground at Keowee-Toxaway will be closed from December 1, 2023 until March 14, 2024 for utility upgrades. We look forward to welcoming you again soon!



  • Camping Information: Ten paved sites have individual water and electrical hookups and can accommodate RVs up to 40 feet total vehicle length. Larger units will have difficulty navigating the campground road. If you have any concerns or questions regarding your unit, please contact the park directly. The designated tent area includes 10 sites with central water and individual tent pads and fire rings. The campground is convenient to restroom facilities with hot showers.
  • Camping Reservations: To make a camping reservation, call toll-free 1-866-345-PARK (7275) or make it online by clicking here. Rates vary by season and demand and are subject to change.

    Camping reservations must be made for a minimum of two nights.

    Reservations requested less than one (1) day in advance of check-in must be made directly through the park. For example: If today is Friday and you are making a reservation checking in on today, Friday, you must make the reservation by contacting the park directly.

  • Standard Sites with Elec. & Water: 10 sites
  • Designated Tent Sites: 10 sites with tent pads
  • Dump Station: Yes
  • Trailside Camping: Backcountry camping is allowed at three designated sites near the shores of Lake Keowee. Combination fire rings/grill pits are provided. Campers may access the backcountry sites by either hiking to them on the Raven Rock Trail or by paddling to them in a canoe/kayak from the canoe/kayak launch. Registration is required.

  • Primitive Group Area: Backcountry camping is available for organized groups at one designated site near the shores of Lake Keowee. Registration is required and reservations are accepted. To make a backcountry group camping reservation, contact the park directly. Organized groups must have more than six campers to reserve the backcountry group site and a maximum of 25 campers. The rate is $2 per person/per night.
