Hampton History Paddle
At Hampton Plantation State Historic Site
Explore the blackwater tidal creeks around a historic plantation with rangers from Hampton Plantation and Black River State Parks! From Revolutionary War battles to old rice fields, a lot of history is tucked away in this quiet area. This paddle is ideal for anyone who enjoys both the outdoors and history!
This program is intended for ages (12) and up, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. All participants must know how to swim, be prepared to get wet, and have previous moving water paddling experience (No first-time paddlers).
Kayaks, paddles, and PFDs will be provided. Dress for the weather in clothes and footwear that can get wet.
Bring snacks, water, and bugspray!
