Creek Detectives: Secrets of the Stream invites young explorers to dive into the hidden world beneath the water's surface! join us for a hand-on adventure in Carrick Creek as we search for the amazing critters that call this mountain stream home. Equipped with nets and curiosity, participants will wade into the creek to collect aquatic insects and other fascinating stream creatures while discovering how these tiny animals help scientists understand the health of a habitat.
After our creek exploration, we will head into the nature classroom for an up-close look at our discoveries under the microscope. You never know what incredible details you'll uncover when you zoom in on life in the stream!

Pre-registration is required for this exciting outdoor program. Participants should be prepared to get wet and wear clothes and shoes suitable for creek exploration. We have boots available to borrow if needed!
