Bat Twilight Takeoff
At Sesquicentennial State Park
Join us at Sesquicentennial State Park at dusk and watch bats leave their daytime roost to go hunt insects. Our bat box is home to over 200 bats who all emerge in a span of about 20 minutes! We'll learn a few fun facts about these bats too while we're waiting. Bring a chair or a blanket and enjoy a relaxing evening learning about and observing these fascinating creatures. Pre-registration is required and space is limited. Adults must accompany children 15 and under. To register click the "Book Now" tab. For more information email Stacey at sjensen@scprt.com
