Join us at Sesquicentennial State Park for a beginner camping skills workshop! If you and/or your family have been interested in going camping but feel intimidated or don't know where to start, join us for this 3-hour class and learn all the basics to prepare you to take your first camping trip. We'll cover things like how to set up a tent, how to start a campfire and camp cooking. Participants will have the opportunity to prepare their own meal on the campfire and of course we'll have s'mores for dessert. This workshop is hands-on and designed for the whole family. Pre-registration is required and space is limited. Click the "Book Now" tab to register. For questions call 803-788-2706 or email Stacey at sjensen@scprt.com.
