Festival of Trees
At Hickory Knob State Resort Park
Hickory Knob State Resort Park is hosting a festive community event inviting local businesses, organizations, and individuals to participate in a friendly holiday tree decorating competition.
Individuals, businesses, and organizations can submit their decorated Christmas tree to the contest and let park visitors vote on their favorite tree! To cast your vote, just come to the Hickory Knob Lodge anytime between December 1, 2025 and January 1, 2026 and cast your vote!
To submit an entry, contact the park at (864)391-2450 from now until November 24. Submissions will require a decoration theme and a $25 completed special use permit. Spaces are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
The top three trees with the most votes will win a gift curated by Hickory Knob State Resort Park! All voters will be entered into a drawing for exciting giveaway prices, including a 55" Samsung Smart TV and a Stay and Play at Hickory Knob Package (2-night stay, 2 breakfast vouchers, and 2 rounds of golf).

Price
Free to view and vote for your favorite tree. Tree sponsors must submit a Special Use Permit ($25) at the park.
