Outdoor Movie Night: "The Big Year"
At Huntington Beach State Park
Ring in the New Year with our outdoor movie, "The Big Year"! Join us December 31st starting at 6:00 pm for Huntington Beach State Park’s movie night! We will be showing the best birding movie you've probably never seem, starring Jack Black, Owen Wilson, and Steve Martin. Beginning on New Year's Eve, join our intrepid birders as they travel the USA in a competition to see who can observe the greatest variety of bird species in a calendar year! Bring your lawn chairs or blankets to the grassy area in front of the playground. The show will start promptly at 6:00pm. Refreshments such as fountain drinks, candy, popcorn, and s'mores ingredients will be available for sale at Spoonbills Ice Cream shop. Restrooms, fire pits and parking are nearby.
