All About Bats
At Paris Mountain State Park
Join a ranger for a fun-filled evening as we explore the fascinating world of bats! Discover the incredible ways these nighttime flyers help our environment through interactive games, engaging stories, and surprising facts that will make you see bats in a whole new light. During this program, we’ll enjoy a short .75-mile walk that takes us along parts of Lake Placid and Mountain Creek. TIME: 6 PM – 8 PM DATE: October 18, 2025 LOCATION: Picnic Flats (first parking lot on the left) COST: $5 per person (registration is required & max capacity is 25) Please dress for the weather and bring a flashlight or headlamp for our dusk activities. All ages are welcome. Come ready to learn, laugh, and experience the magic of bats at Paris Mountain State Park!
