Knot Your Average History Lesson
At Battle of Rivers Bridge State Historic Site
Knot skills have always been useful, from ancient history to today and well into the future! In this beginner-level knot program, you will learn and practice a couple knots that were useful for Civil War soldiers, but just as useful to you: the bowline and sheet bend! After we spend some time learning how to tie them, you'll get a chance to turn your knowledge into practical skills by completing a hands-on challenge!
