Join a park ranger for a kayak trip down the Edisto River from Simmons Landing to Colleton State Park. All paddling gear will be included in the price of the program. However, since Simmons Landing is a private landing with a $10 access fee; you will need to bring $10 cash. This access fee is not included in the program cost. Meet at the Park Office at 10:30am so we can get on the water about 11:00am. FOR YOUR SAFETY, THIS PROGRAM IS FOR PADDLERS WITH AT LEAST SOME EXPERIENCE ON MOVING WATER OR A LOT OF EXPERIENCE ON FLAT WATER. FIRST-TIME OR INEXPERIENCED PADDLERS WILL BE REMOVED FROM PARTICIPATION WITHOUT REFUND. Register by the Tuesday prior to the program. What to Bring

water, snack, camera, clothes/footwear that can get wet, sunscreen, sunglasses and/or a hat are recommended. You can bring your own PFD if you prefer, but PFDs, paddles, and kayaks will be provided.
