First Day Hike - Sandhills Hiking Trail

Start the New Year off right and join us at Sesquicentennial State Park for our First Day Hikes! Whether you're looking for a casual stroll on our half-mile nature trail or a more strenuous hike on our 2-mile Sandhills Trail, we have something for everyone! The guided nature walk is ideal for folks interested in learning more about the plants and animals that call Sesqui home. The 2-mile hike is focused on fitness while enjoying the sights and sounds of the forest in this unique sandhills ecosystem. Adults must accompany children 15 and under. What to Bring
Dress appropriately for being outdoors and wear comfortable shoes. Participants may also bring water, snacks, cameras and binoculars.
