At Sesquicentennial State Park
Want to learn how to camp? Apply today to join us at Sesquicentennial State Park for the 10th Annual Palmetto Campout! Camp with park rangers and other camping experts and have guided instruction for pitching your tent, building a camp fire, camp cooking and more. Apply to be one of the lucky families to join us for an overnight campout in the park's campground and learn these skills along with many more to make your first camping experience a fantastic and fun one! Campers will have the opportunity to attend demonstrations and workshops to learn more about camping and other activities to do while camping. Activities will include geocaching, fishing, canoeing, camping games and more. To apply, please fill out an application and submit by e-mail, mail or fax by the deadline indicated on the application. Families selected to participate will receive a packet with a list of what to bring.

Selected families will check in at the registration table in the campground.
