Tour of Redcliffe

At Redcliffe Plantation State Historic Site

Join us as we explore the complicated history of plantation life and the long history of residents at Redcliffe from 1855 to 1975. Step into both an original cabin used by enslaved laborers and the mansion used by the planter class. Learn more about James Henry Hammond's life and the lives of his decedents as well as the lives of enslaved and free African Americans who lived on the property. The tour will last approximately 1 hour. We look forward to seeing you soon.
