Seine-sational Fun!
At Myrtle Beach State Park
Be like a marine biologist and experience the excitement of pulling a seine net through the surf! As we work together, we’ll discover and count a variety of fish, crabs, and other fascinating coastal creatures. The program costs $5 per person and includes a wristband that allows you to help pull the net and safely release any critters we catch. Wristbands are only needed for participants who want to be hands-on with the net and animal release. Since we are at the beach and in the ocean, kids 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Appropriate for ages 5 to 105- all ages can help pull a net in the shallow water!
