Bat Chat

At Myrtle Beach State Park

Bats, the only mammal capable of true flight, often give us chills and leave us in fright. Discover fascinating facts about bats as we first meet inside the activity center. Around dusk, we will head outside and hopefully have a rare opportunity to see and even hear these master aerialists at work. Using a special device called a bat detector, we will eavesdrop on bats as they hunt for insects. Appropriate for ages 7 to 107. There is a limited capacity of only 15 people so please sign up early!
