A Crabby Experience!
At Myrtle Beach State Park
Test your luck from the fishing pier as we try to catch a variety of crabs, fish and many other critters. This is a catch and release program in order to help conserve our resources for the future. A limited amount of crab traps are provided for a $5 rental charge per trap. Pay for traps inside the fishing pier retail store. Traps are available on a first come, first served basis- we start handing out traps 10 minutes before the program begins. Bring your own raw chicken or fish for bait, or bait is sold inside the pier. Program can last from 1 to 1.5 hours- depending on what we are catching! Appropriate for ages 5 to 105.
