PARK ADVISORY

The Station Cove Falls Trail at Oconee Station is temporarily closed due to a large tree obstructing the trail. We apologize for the inconvenience.


Call (864) 683-0079 for information on ranger guided tours. A self-interpretation station is available at the park office. 

Restrooms are available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and on holidays. Facilities will otherwise be unavailable, please plan accordingly.

Ultimate Outsider stamps will be made available at the following 2 locations if you are to visit on a day that the park is closed: Station Cove Falls Trailhead Kiosk and the Oconee State Park Office.

Top 5 Things To Do

  1. Explore the grounds and take a guided tour of the historic site. Tours are available from 1 p.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
  2. Visit Station Cove Falls, Oconee’s breathtaking 60-foot waterfall.
  3. Enjoy the wildflowers and other unique wildlife along the trails.
  4. Attend a Living History program. These programs occur four or five Saturdays per year and are posted on the South Carolina State Parks website.
  5. Fish for bream in the park’s pond, one of the park’s best-kept secrets.
