PARK ADVISORY

Hampton Plantation is CLOSED due to hazardous winter weather. We will reopen as soon as conditions are safe.

The park is experiencing intermittent phone outages. For assistance, please email us at hampton@scprt.com.

In an effort to preserve the site's historical resources, our park roads are unpaved and can be sandy at times. Please use caution when traveling the roads at Hampton Plantation.

The Piney Woods Nature Trail at Hampton Plantation is closed until further notice. We apologize for the inconvenience.

HOURS

9 a.m.- 5 p.m., daily

Mansion Hours: Guided tours only, Fri. - Tue. noon and 2 p.m.

OFFICE

11 a.m. to noon, daily

ADMISSION

Grounds are free.

House admission: $10/adult; $6/S.C. Senior; $5/youth age 6-15; Free for children 5 & younger.

PETS

Pets are allowed in most outdoor areas provided they are kept under physical restraint or on a leash not longer than six feet. Owners will be asked to remove noisy or dangerous pets or pets that threaten or harass wildlife.

Driving Directions:
From Georgetown: Travel S. on Hwy 17 for approximately 16 mi. After crossing the two Santee River bridges, turn rt. at the first intersection onto Rutledge Rd. Go three miles and the park entrance will be on the rt.

From Charleston:Travel N on Hwy 17 for approximately 35 miles. Turn left onto Rutledge Rd, go three mi. and the park entrance will be on the rt.
