The Junior Ranger program for the South Carolina State Park Service was formed with one main goal in mind: getting children outdoors and enjoying state parks! State parks are fun, beautiful, and exciting places where families can spend time together in a safe and natural environment.

The Junior Ranger program is geared for children from 6 to 9 years old, but it is open to children of all ages (even grown-ups!). All of the activities are designed to get children outdoors and learning about the state’s wonderful natural and cultural resources.
