MERIDA HINES-TYLER
My interest in weaving began while visiting an Indian reservation at 12 years old. I had my first loom a year later and then while attending the University of Texas I had a double major --one being in textiles. Nine years ago I improved upon a hat design, using a fiber for weaving and Maddie’s Hatbox became my new career and passion.
