ELIZABETH MAZYCK
Elizabeth Mazyck is a native of Mount Pleasant, SC and has been sewing baskets since the age of eight. She and her husband Joseph, travel across state lines to gather materials such as sweetgrass, palmetto, pinestraw, and bulrushes. Elizabeth is a mother of four, grandmother of 13 and also has five great grandchildren. She has participated in many craft shows and has won a number of awards for her creative artwork.
