Hands-on History
At Oconee Station State Historic Site
Travel with park staff as we step back in time and place to the 1790's South Carolina frontier! We will bring history to life through a variety of hands-on activities. Each month features a new historical skill such as writing secret messages with a quill pen, building frontier forts, preserving food for winter, and crafting silhouette portraits. Space is limited and registration is required for each session. Cost is $2 per participant to cover materials. Sign up for one program or join us for the whole series!
