Embark on a 1.6-mile kayaking adventure amidst the stunning landscapes of Lake Wateree with our experienced park rangers. While some kayaking experience is required, participants of all skill levels will enjoy paddling along the shoreline. Join us for an unforgettable experience that combines the thrill of adventure with the beauty of nature, only at Lake Wateree State Park. Reserve your spot now for an evening of adventure and discovery. Guests should arrive to check in at the Lake Wateree Tackle Shop at 6:00 p.m. The group will depart the boat ramp via wet entry at 6:15 p.m. and paddle 0.8 miles to Taylor Creek Cove before paddling back to the park, covering 1.6 miles round trip. All participants must be 18 or older and be able to swim. No pets allowed. You can bring your own kayak if you like. All personal kayaks will be visually inspected by park staff at check-in. Clothing and sturdy footwear that can get wet, head light/lamp, towel, water, bug spray, dry bag. You can bring your own kayak but all personal watercraft will need to pass inspections prior to trip.
$30 per person if you bring your own kayak; $45 per person if renting a park kayak
